Schlaegel's Homegrown Popcorn introduces new look

    (10/23/2006) A new look will dawn the front of Schlaegel's Homegrown Popcorn packages in the near future. A new color coordinated label was chosen to replace the traditional brown label that decorated the bags for the past nine years.

   "It was time for a change, and we are really excited about the new look to our popcorn," Gary Schlaegel said.

    The company hopes the new label will create a more "bright" and "fun" look to their popped popcorn. The product itself will not change, so Schlaegel's customers can expect the same great taste they've experienced for many years. Expect to see the label beginning this fall and continuing into the Holiday season as the supply of old labels runs out.

    Coinciding with the new Schlaegel's label is their new ability to print individualized popcorn labels for businesses such as banks, and organizations such as schools. These labels can be made to include a name, a logo, and/or a message.

    "We've already sold a large amount of these individualized bags to various businesses, and we look forward to expanding in this area," Mike Tanking said. "They make great gifts to business customers.
